I’m Lucy.
I write because if I don’t, my thoughts start stacking up in places they don’t belong. Writing is how I slow them down. How I make sense of the noise. How I stay honest with myself.
I’m a mother. A thinker. Someone who notices too much and feels things deeply, even when my life looks quiet from the outside.
This site isn’t a portfolio or a brand exercise. It’s not curated to impress. It’s a place I come to think out loud – to document what it looks like to change in real time.
Why I Write
I used to believe writing needed a purpose before it was allowed to exist.
A lesson. A conclusion. A neat ending.
Now I write in the middle instead.
I write while I’m unsure.
While I’m contradicting myself.
While I’m becoming someone new and don’t yet know what that means.
The Journal holds those moments – entries written close to the feeling, before distance softens them.
What This Isn’t
This isn’t self-help.
I’m not offering answers, fixes, or five-step plans.
I’m not here to teach anyone how to live.
What I am doing is telling the truth as carefully as I can – and trusting that honesty is enough to create connection.
Who This Is For
This space is for people who:
• feel like they’re in a quiet transition
• don’t fully recognise who they used to be
• think too much on walks and late at night
• need proof that uncertainty can still be meaningful
If you’re looking for certainty, this might frustrate you.
If you’re comfortable sitting in questions, you’ll probably feel at home.
A Small Invitation
If you’re new here, start with the Journal.
Read whatever pulls you in.
There’s no correct order.
You don’t need to understand me to be here.
You don’t need to agree with me either.
Just… welcome.
Lucy
